We use essential cookies to run this site and, only with your consent, analytics cookies to see how it's used. You can change your choice any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer. Cookie Policy
This website is operated by OIA JEWELRY S.A., a company registered in Greece.
In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to OIA JEWELRY S.A. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
This policy explains what information this website collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. It applies to visitors from anywhere in the world. Depending on where you live, additional rights may apply, and these are set out in sections 9 and 10.
This is a brochure website. We do not sell products online, we do not operate user accounts, and we do not run a newsletter or advertising campaigns from this site.
Information you give us directly. If you contact us by email or telephone using the details published on this site, we receive whatever you choose to send us, such as your name, your email address and the content of your message. We use this only to reply to you.
Information collected automatically. If you consent to analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects technical and usage information about your visit. This includes the pages you view, how long you spend on them, which links you click, the type of device and browser you use, your approximate location at city level, and the website or search engine that referred you.
Google Analytics 4 does not store your full IP address. Your IP address is used in transit to derive an approximate location and is then discarded rather than logged.
We do not collect special category data, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not use this website for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Some are necessary for a site to function. Others are optional and require your permission.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|
cc_consent_v2 | Stores your cookie choice so we do not ask again on every page. Kept in your browser’s local storage. | 12 months | This website |
These are required for the website to work and to honour the choice you have made. They cannot be switched off, and they do not track you across other websites.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes one visitor from another so that visit numbers are not double counted. | 2 years | Google Analytics |
_ga_HB05QW0ZZS | Maintains the state of an individual visit session. | 2 years | Google Analytics |
Analytics cookies help us understand which pages are useful and how people find us, so that we can improve the site. They are not loaded when you first arrive. The Google Analytics script is only downloaded and executed after you actively give consent. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google.
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social media tracking pixels or cross-site tracking of any kind.
The Location section of our home page can display an interactive Google Maps embed. Because the map is served by Google, loading it shares your IP address, browser information and the page you are on with Google, and Google may set its own cookies in your browser.
For that reason the map is not loaded automatically. You will see a placeholder with a Load map button instead. The embed only loads if you accept the External content category, or if you click Load map on the placeholder itself. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
You can always find us without loading the map. Our full address is in the Location section, and the Get directions link opens Google Maps in a separate tab only when you choose to click it.
This website uses Google Consent Mode. Before you make a choice, analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation are all set to denied. Only your choice changes that state.
Analytics and External content are two separate choices. Accepting one does not accept the other, and you can turn either of them on or off independently from the Settings screen in the cookie banner.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking Cookie settings in the website footer, or the small cookie button in the bottom right corner of any page.
Withdrawing consent stops further collection. It does not undo processing that already took place lawfully before you withdrew.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent Google Analytics from working on any site you visit.
Under the GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:
| What we do | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Storing your cookie preference | Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)), and a legal obligation to record your choice |
| Analytics cookies and the data they collect | Your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), and Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive as implemented in Greek law |
| Loading the Google Maps embed | Your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), and Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive as implemented in Greek law |
| Replying to an enquiry you send us | Legitimate interests, or steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) |
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
The only third party that receives data through this website is Google Ireland Limited and its affiliate Google LLC. Google acts as our data processor for Google Analytics, under the Google Ads Data Processing Terms. If you choose to load the Google Maps embed, Google receives your IP address and acts as an independent controller for that interaction, under its own privacy policy.
Beyond that, we may disclose information where we are legally required to do so, for example in response to a lawful request from a public authority, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Google Analytics data may be transferred to and processed on servers located in the United States and other countries outside the European Economic Area.
Where data leaves the EEA, the transfer is protected by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, together with additional technical safeguards applied by Google such as encryption in transit and at rest. Google LLC is also self-certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and the UK Extension and Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework.
You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards by contacting us at the address in section 1.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email oiajewelry26@gmail.com. We will respond within one month. That period can be extended by two further months for complex requests, and we will tell you if that happens. There is no charge unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Greece this is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, Kifissias 1-3, 115 23 Athens, www.dpa.gr. If you live in another EEA country, the UK or Switzerland, you may complain to the authority in your own country instead.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months. We do not knowingly collect or sell the personal information of anyone under 16.
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana or another state with comprehensive privacy legislation in force, you may have the right to:
To exercise these rights, email oiajewelry26@gmail.com with the subject line “Privacy Request”. We will verify your identity by asking you to confirm information we already hold, so that we do not disclose data to the wrong person. You may use an authorised agent, in which case we will ask for proof of authorisation.
Many browsers can send a Global Privacy Control signal. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing for that signal to switch off on this site, but we honour it as a valid opt-out request.
We aim to apply the same standard everywhere. If you are covered by another privacy law, such as Brazil’s LGPD, Canada’s PIPEDA, Australia’s Privacy Act, Japan’s APPI, South Korea’s PIPA, South Africa’s POPIA, India’s DPDP Act or the UAE’s PDPL, you may exercise equivalent rights to those described above by contacting us at oiajewelry26@gmail.com, and we will handle your request under the law that applies to you.
| Data | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Your cookie preference | 12 months, then you will be asked again |
| Cookies set by Google Maps, if you load the map | Set and controlled by Google under its own privacy policy, typically up to 6 months |
| Google Analytics user and event data | 2 months from your last visit, after which it is automatically deleted |
| Aggregated, non-identifying reports in Google Analytics | Retained without a fixed limit, as this data cannot identify you |
| Emails and enquiries you send us | Up to 1 month after our last contact, unless a longer period is required by Greek accounting or tax law |
We use HTTPS encryption across the whole website. Access to the Google Analytics account is restricted to authorised personnel. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so while we take reasonable measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
This website is not directed at children. Under Greek law, a person must be at least 15 years old to give valid consent to analytics cookies. If you are under 15, please decline analytics or ask a parent or guardian. If you believe we hold data relating to a child, contact us and we will delete it.
Our site may link to third party websites, including map services and social media pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read their policies before providing them with any information.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the law or in how the website works. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. If we make a material change to how we use your data, we will ask for your consent again through the cookie banner.
